Boba/Bubble Tea in Norfolk, Va

chefsteveo Aug 6, 2007 07:57 AM

Does anyone know where to find boba tea in the Seven Cities?? I had a friend ask me about it last night but I didn't have an answer for her. I have lived in this area for 10 years and never heard of anywhere serving it. Please help.

The last several time I tried, the Lynnhaven Mall stand had very mushy unappealing boba.
The Pho place mentioned on Holland has decent ones, especially Taro, but the best bet around here is to just make your own. They sell the frozen boba in several different sizes at most of the asian grocery places.

Really? I'm actually surprised. Good to know when I get the craving!

Oddly enough, the food court at Lynnhaven Mall had a pretty good bubble tea place the last time I was there - which was at least a year ago.
        good luck!

It's still there. I think pho 78 also has it. (holland rd)
