San Francisco Bay Area

Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in the SF Bay Area (including Berkeley, Oakland, Napa, Sonoma, Marin, and San Jose)

Richmond - Hilltop Mall Restaurants - there is Mongolian BBQ

Seems like people occasionally look for Mongolian bbq ... Hilltop has it

It looked as good as that type of food can look. Seems like this is an aggressive chain, so there are plenty of Bay Area and US locations. They also have restaurants Hong Kong, Taiwan ... and Mongolia ... what a concept .. Mongolian BBQ actually in Mongolia. The place looks exactly like the picture on the website.

Didn't get to look at the whole mall, but there's a little food area near 24 Hour fitness ... heh ... that also has two decent looking Chinese steam table places, a health drink joint, Yummy yogurt which also has a lot of flavors of Bud's and Dreyer's ice cream and a Subway which can be snubbed.

There is also one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area ... I base that on some stellar posole ... Cazuelas Grill.

    1. so this Cazuelas is inside the mall and not on the road going around the mall?

Yep, inside the mall close to the door. Look for 24 Hour Fitness when driving around the mall and that's the entrance.

I asked about Great Khan on the chains board
