Hottest, Spiciest Wings in OC?

We're looking for some balls-to-wall hot and spicy wings in OC. The 911 from Hooters is too tame. Any recommendations on wings so hot you'll feel it again the next day?

For all you working-class heroes: Alondra Hot Wings, especially the one in Montebello ( http://www.alondrawings.com/location/... ). Hot wings, sweet service. They have not only Hot but also X-hot, Suicide, and Atomic.

Try Wings N Things because you can choose from several levels of heat (mild to the crazty stuff) and also garlic style wings. Tell them you want the wings outside crunchy but not dry inside. They have a full menu as well. Maybe try the Beef on Weck sandwich. A sliced beef sandwich which is popular in the Buffalo-Rochester area of New York. It is named after the salty kummelweck roll it is made with.

I'm still a really big fan of the wings at Lou's Oak Oven BBQ on Brookhurst and Hamilton near PCH.

The cook the wings without the sauce so they are perfectly cooked and very crispy. They put a HUGE squeeze bottle of their wing sauce next to the plate and a bottle of tapatio if you want to mix that in too.

What great about this is you could bring different small bottles of hot sauce into the restaurant and personalize the wing sauce for different tastes.

          Just a thought.

          PS I drench mine.

I tried them once and came away from that meal thinking, "They have got to be kidding. Nobody can eat that." I only got half-way and then stopped. Well, the OP wanted something you feel again the next day. A small order of these will be felt the next morning. A good desseet would be ice cream. Next day, "Come-on ice cream."

The reason I made a rec for Wings N Things is that they are HOT but also really can be eaten. If the OP does take the group to eat these "Atomic" wings I hope we get a report and some pictures of what their eyes looked like while eating them, and another picture of their eyes the next day .... The only versions I have tried that were hotter were back East. One was at Roy Rodgers and it was also called "Atomic." They do not offer it any longer because people could not eat it. The hottest version I have had was at the place that started it all -- The Anchor Bar. The hot one at the Anchor Bar is called "Suicide." When you finish eating the full order of suicide wings the server gives you a small trophy fire hydrant to put around your neck. I wanted that throphy so I did it, but never again.

You can buy on-line from the Anchor Bar.

Yeah, they're hot but that's it. The cracked pepper taste overwhelms everything else. The heat then starts sneaking up on you.

I used to like wingstop a lot when they first opened but the prices went up and the wings are very tiny.
