Where can I get geoduck?

The boyfriend wants me to cook geoduck for him. (He likes really unusual foods, and once ate a cow intestine right in front of me.) I don't recall seeing geoduck for sale anywhere. Maybe Chinatown? Anyone known? And how much does it cost?

Geoduck is also known as giant clam, or mirugai, in Japanese cuisine. You can get raw mirugai at Katagiri on E59th St, or at Mitsuwa in Edgewater, NJ -- a large Japanese grocery store.

I think that settles that you have to go to Chinatown to get them. I really cannot recall ever seeing them anywhere else.

I see them all the time at Chinatown fish markets.
