"Downtown" restaurant, Berkeley

We're meeting some friends for dinner here tonight- seem to have some recollection that the 'hounds find this place to be mediocre... Any highlights that might be recommended?

    1. On our first visits we consistently had good luck with appetizers and not with entrees, so since then we just share a bunch of appetizers. Don't miss the fried olives.

If you find the music too loud, ask to be seated in the back room.

For dessert, walk a block south to Gelato Milano.

Ditto Robert's experiences. If you can stick with the appetizers you'll be fine.

I certainly agree with Robert on this!

I agree with the dessert recommendation. Don't miss Gelato Milano down the block!
