Late Afternoon Meal near Tremont Lowes

Looking for a late afternoon lunch spot to treat my college-aged daughter between seeing a movie at the Lowes on Tremont and her evening internship which is just a few blocks away near the Park Street Station.

After reviewing some chow-postings, it seems that on Sunday our options are the Intermission Cafe or Tantric Grill. Found the Intermission web site, but no prices. Could someone that knows the menu give me an idea of the price range?

Any other suggestions are also welcome, though this kid doesn't eat sandwiches or sushi.

Try Scollay Square or Emmet's on Beacon Street. Both places offer a nice variety of food - beyond sandwiches. They are short walk from the Park Street T-Stop.

I'm not a huge fan of Intermission..prices will run $8-12 for their pub food.

Montien, excellent Thai, is around the corner on Stuart. Penang is on Washington..Malaysian. Pho Pasteur for Vietnamese and all of Chinatown are close by.
Jacob Wirth is right there too. Not the greatest food but a great, classic room.

If you want to get adventurous, ask for the authentic Thai menu. Some of my favorite dishes are the squid salad and a sliced pork w/basil and peppercorns.

The Grotto near the State House in Beacon Hill is open for lunch.

Movie should let out around 3:30 pm... internship begins around 5:30. We do have one additional errand to run during that block of time in the Downtown Crossing area.
