Help for a Philly hound

We will be coming to San Diego for a few nights in September, and will be staying at the Hyatt on the water (Manchester, maybe). I know nothing about the area, and was hoping you all could provide some moderately priced restaurants for dinner. AT least one of the nights we will be with a vegetarian, so veg options would be much appreciated too. Finally, are there any must haves for breakfast or lunch that I need to know about?

For all of the above, any type of food would be great. We will not have a car, so whatever is reasonably accessible would be helpful.

For the vegetarian, I suggest Chopahn on 6th. It's an Afghan place. Another good option for vegetarians is Royal Thai on 5th. That's a fairly short walk from the Hyatt.

Cafe Chloe is a must visit. Their weekend breakfast is great, and they have good lunches and dinners as well.
