I sent some friends to Vintage a couple weeks ago, and they had a fabulous time. I havent been in quite some time (over 18 months), so my intel is out of date. But i trust the original posters in the thread above, as well as my friends (though they have bad taste in Sushi joints :) ).

Vintage is also great. We've been to a lot of restaurants in Calgary, I was thinking of trying out a new place. I haven't been out for steak in a couple months and was seeing if anyone had some summer favorites! Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

If you're feeling adventerous, go for the Bear's Den. I havent been since they first opened...wondering if their steaks warrant the price!

I like "The Keg" - their steaks always are tasty. Although they are a chain, I think you get a really good [if not excellent] meal for the price.

If you can head to Banff, I highly reccomend FUZE. The indian-spiced steak is deadly!!

If you can't make it to Banff, perhaps Fantino. They have a good steak on their menu...at least they did in December when I last went.
