palmeri brentwood
my mother in law gave us a little card that i think came in the mail from palmeri advertising buy one entree get on free. so we took our coupon and went last night. what a lovely surprise. i would totally go back. they started us with crusty bread and a dish of warm ricotta swimming in a garlicky tomato sauce. heavenly. i had the black ravioli stuffed with crab and topped with rock shrimp which was just delicious. my husband had the spaghetti with lobster which i tasted and would probably order next time. so they were smart with their marketing ploy. it got us in there and we will definitely be back.

This is my favorite to-go spot on nights when pizza, chinese or indian won't do.
Buratta salad, tortelli, and another great pasta that escapes me at the moment.
Definitely an under-rated spot.
Jessie at the bar runs the to-go operation and our order has always been ready and right.

No, it is just a posting notice to upgrade from beer & wine service to full liquor. Here it is:
http://www.abc.ca.gov/datport/LQSData...However, it has been up for a waaaaay long time, meaning something is up, meaning they had to get their conditional use permit, which apparently they either received in June, or the hearing was in June. Not sure which, but definitely not an ownership change.

My friend Babsie and I went there before the spelling bee show in June.
The only good thing is the bread w/tomatoes and cheese that they give you.
My pasta with "truffles" was totally devoid of flavor. Not just the truffles, the pasta, the sauce, etc. Not that it was "subtle" -- there was none.
Also actually one of the rudest establishments in town, if not the worst.
It is no surprise to hear they are reduced to offering buy one get one free and hopefully this signals the impending death of a crap restaurant.
P.S.: If you're not able to get street parking and have to give it to the valet it's outrageously expensive.›1 Reply -
