The Cafe on the 2nd floor is great for just this. They also have one on the 5th floor - but we prefer the 2nd.

that cafe gets crazy busy on weekends, stay away! head up 6th avenue towards 57th for better odds...

If you don't want to have lunch at any of the restaurants in MoMA, an excellent choice nearby is La Bonne Soupe, on 55th St., b/t 5th & 6th Avs., a very nice French bistro with lots more on the menu than just good soups.

thank you RGR, La Bonne Soupe was just right, I had a lovely, fluffy omelette ratatouille before my visit to MOMA. It was just right.

            Hey, honeybee926,

We've been away, so I'm just catching up. Thanks for reporting back. So glad La Bonne Soupe was a hit for you. :-)
