Boston Restaurant Rec's Please
Hi all,
I will be in Boston for 2 days in early September and I need some recommendations for dinner. I used to live in Boston around 10 years ago, but I was a college student and as such I sure didn't eat out that often so i am familiar with areas but not really restaurants. I am interested in places in the North End, but I will take all excellent restaurant recomendations. Last, the price range is not as important. I am willing to spend the money, as long as the meal is exceptional. Thanks for the help.

RoyRon's come up with good North End suggestions, which I'll repeat and marginally add onto:
Expensive: Prezza, Mamma Maria (both Northern Italian).
Moderate: Maurizio's, Giacomo's, Antico Forno, Pagliuca's (all Southern Italian), Marco (kind of both).
Cheap: Galleria Umberto, Il Panino Express (both Southern Italian).Pizzeria Regina is a must as well.
I like RoyRon's other suggestions, too. Persally, give us some ideas of what you want as far as location, cuisine, and price range, as there's a ton of possibilities.

I am sure if you search this board you will find tons of suggestions. As you know the North End has probably a hundred or so Italian places that cover everything from pizza to high-end Italian. My particular favorites are Antico Forno on Salem St. for mid priced food and Prezza for really good but expensive Italian. The pizza at Pizzeria Regina is still the best in the city in my opinion but I also like Santarpio's in East Boston too. For Chinese I like the Peach Farm or East Ocean City both of which are in Chinatown. Some of my other favorites are Eastern Standard in Kenmore Sq, Petit Robert Bistro on Commonwealth Ave and Great Bay in the Commonwealth Hotel.
