Great salad selection
I am trying to eat more healthy and would like to find some restaurants with extensive salad selections. Grand Luxe and Cheesecake Factory are great for this, as is R.J. Grunt's for their salad bar.
Any other suggestions?

I was shopping at the Promenade in Bolingbrook today and noticed a new Salad Creations restaurant. It looked interesting. There is also one on Monroe in Chicago. http://www.saladcreations.net/
Good for you on your desire to eat healthier!

I recently was in Chicago and had lunch at the Sofital Hotel (forget the name of the actual restaurant) and on their lunch/brunch menu they had a number of delicious sounding salads.
I got the goat cheese and Peaktoe crab meat salad. It was light, fresh and delicious. My boyfriend for a blackened Cajun salmon salad that came with greens and grapefruit. It was also really tasty.
Plus they have a nice covered outdoor seating area during the days when its sunny and warm outside.

I don't know about a variety salad, but I have to put in a plug for The Chicago Diner's Thunder Salad.(http://www.menuism.com/restaurants/ba...
)The description from the menu reads: Mixed greens, mushroom, onion, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, sprouts, red cabbage, tomato, olives, walnuts & garbanzos. Tofu, cheddar or avocado & cornbread. $10.95
The beans, walnuts and avacado are what really do it for me. It's hands-down the best salad I've ever had, especially with one of the garlic-y dressings.
