Old Town (SD) rec for party of 20

I have not eaten in old town (San Diego) since it changed hands. Can anyone recommend a restaurant for lunch on a weekday for a party of 20? Does not have to be fancy - it is a group teambuilding for work. Private area would be a plus. Reservations would be super. Margaritas are also a good thing. ;-)

Thanks for any suggestions you may have!!

Don't bother eating inside the park as Delware North (or what ever their name is) is by far the worst operator I have ever seen at any state or federal park ever. They've turned what was the liveliest and most visited state park in the state into a ghost town with crappy over salted canned beans and garbage marketing of completely unhistoric generic east coast Americana restaurants. The Bizaar del Mundo was really special and lively with some of the best and most authentic restaurants in town. Now, all that has been replaced by third rate garbage which needs to get flushed down the toilet.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I know this will not be the most gourmet experience but I think it will be fun. I do appreciate your thoughts!

If you liked the previous Old Town restaurants, I strongly suggest you check out Casa Guadalajara. It's just outside Old Town, on the north end on Taylor St.

Casa Guadalajara is owned by Diane Powers, who was the owner of Casa De Bandini and Casa De Pico. They have decent margaritas, and the food is pretty good. They have a large patio where you could easily get a party of 20 seated.

I second Casa Guadalajara I have been to several private functions there that have all gone very well and the outside patio is great.

Zocalo Grill might work for you. The space is big, the maggies decent, the food...well, you can be the judge of that.

            Old Town Mexican Cafe: http://www.oldtownmexcafe.com/
            Fred's: http://www.mooserestaurantgroup.com/f...

They're both pretty good and have a lot of space and should be able to accommodate a party of 20 easy.
