Any leads on where to get B&J Beer and Donuts ice cream

As a tie in to the Simpsons Movie, Ben & Jerrys has pints of beer and donut ice cream... a stout flavored ice cream with donut chunks mixed in.

My husband has searched high and lo, including 7eleven and the rebranded kwikemarts.

Leads would be greatly appreciated. its his b-day very soon. TIA.

I found out yesterday that the whole Beer & Donut ice cream was a one day promotional that they only did at Springfield, VT (which won the nationwide competition between all the Springfields for the premier of the Simpsons movie.) So for the rest of us, we're just out of luck. Ah well.

On another note, I just read an article about Pacojet, the $3,500 machine that can turn anything into ice cream... So who needs Ben & Jerry?! Pacojet is the key to all your ice cream needs!

The ice cream machine on Iron Chef looks pretty cool too. They'll throw *anything* in there, slap a dollop of cream on it, and serve it. Chocolate chicken gizzard ice cream, or perhaps a celery sorbet anyone?

Thanks for the information. Its refreshing to read a response that is both useful and on topic. The Pacojet is out of my financial reach for now, but even if I had that kind of money, I'd probably spend it on an outdoor kitchen. Never mind that we only have a rented apartment...

If you can find it, B&J's "Black and Tan" flavor is a blend of stout and chocolate ice cream -- incredible. Donut chunks would be fantastic in it.

OK... I had the same reaction but didn't want to be the first to express that thought... HOWEVER.... Now that you've replied, I'll have to second that emotion....It made my mouth water... In the bad way!
Sorry, but It sounds like something you'd find in a restaurant's cleanup tray!.

Actually, what I picture in my mind is something similar to dunking a donut into a beer shake (a milkshake made with beer, which is actually REALLY good.) And the way it plays out in my head, it might actually taste great. But I'm one for trying weird and unexpected flavor combinations all the time (for better or worse), so maybe it's just me.
