Chinese Restaurant near 98th/Madison?

Does anyone know of a good, fairly authentic chinese restaurant very close to Mt Sinai on 98th Street?

Might be a bit of a hike, but Our Place (82 and Third) has pretty good Shanghainese (sp?) food.

As an employee of Mt Sinai I can also vouch for this area being a culinary wasteland, for any type of food, sadly.

I wish I had a good suggestion, but don't even try to eat Chinese in this location. If you are out for a hospital break, and really need a chinese dinner, walk or taxi to Wu Liang Ye at 215 E. 86th between 2nd and 3rd. They deliver as well (at least they used to). 212-534-8899.

I agree w/ PP there are plently of places on 3rd and 2nd. However, I used to live on 92nd and Madison and there is nothing in the neighborhood. Wu Liang Ye is as close as you'll get to "authentic" chinese.
