I just wanted to post a big thank you to KatieNell for her superb organizational skills, and tireless diplomacy in the face of many complaints, in organizing the cookbook of the month threads for the past months.

I'm afraid it's often been a thankless task, and I know I have benefited significantly from her hard work.

THANK YOU!

I'm late to the party, but just wanted to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to you too, Katie Nell! It was wonderful "getting to know" you, and I can't saw how much I appreciate all your hard work, taking the time to cull through the past threads for ideas, even going to bookstores to look through the books, and narrowing them down to a selection every month - and still had to deal with complaints! ; ) What grace.

Thanks again - you made it a lot of fun.

Another big thank you, Katie Nell. I have been cooking for a long time, but your wonderful work encouraged me to stretch myself this year and I have learned so much. My family and friends are grateful too! I'm glad you can return to being on the receiving end. I look forward to your posts.

I'm not sure how I missed this thread earlier, but want to chime in with more thanks and gratitude for Katie Nell. I haven't been good about cooking along but have enjoyed reading along. You came up with a wonderful selection and variety of cookbooks and did a great job listening to folks. Not sure how you put up with the complaints, but thank you for putting in six months of volunteer work!

Oh, wow, you're welcome guys... just saw this! It was indeed much more difficult than I thought it would be, but still fun. I'm glad to be able to just relax now and enjoy the books! Note to those who go after me: develop *very* thick skin! :-) I couldn't have done it without the positive support of a tremendous amount of you- you know who you are! Thanks, right back at you!

Yes, absolutely! Thanks very much for your patience, time and hard work, KatieNell. It's much appreciated.

And thanks, too, to the home cooking board regulars. I appreciate the friendliness and the focused, spirited conversation. I am frequently inspired, and I've learned a lot. You're a great bunch!
