Henninger's in Baltimore

I am going to Henninger's with my Fiance this weekend. It will be the first time either of us has been there. Does anyone have any suggestions on what is good there? When I called to find out about their hours and if I could make a reservation, the guy who answered said that they usually have good table availability on Saturdays off season. After I hung up, I realized I did not understand what he meant by "off season".

The Crabcakes are some of the best in the city as well as their steak

Henningers is a hidden gem and for the most part anything you get on the menu will be great in IMPO

Summer, especially August is considered the off season for restaurants. The food is awesome as is the atmosphere! The crab cakes are great as is practically everything I have had there.

I was there last wednesday for the Lobster special in the bar and it was fantastic. Great deal for $15 (1 1/2 lb lobster, corn on the cob, bread and mashed spuds). We shared a salad and app of the menu and both were delish. Enjoy!

Henninger's is one of our go-to places. Their fried oysters are perfection!
