Recommend take out from Gan Asia or another place?

Hi, Is it worth it to try Gan Aisa? My DH and I are going to a movie and I wanted to get us
something quick, good, and hopefully cheap to eat before the movie. Can you recommend
somthing from Gan Asia, or maybe another place in the city?

i always liked gan asia, but its pretty cruddy food - also beware, if you have nut allergies, even if they say there are no nuts in a dish, theres always some nut residue.

oh really?! That's so weird because I was always dying to try Gan Asia because I thought it was supposed to be really good. Ok then I'm open to any other reccomendtion, maybe a good burger place. (Not Dougies we hate them! ) Thanks!

If you're going to the theater on 84th, go to Alibaba on Amsterdam and 85th(I might be off by a block or two, but it's below 86th). It's a small Israeli place with schwarma, falafel, etc...

The only burger place on the upper west side is Kasbah(84th between Broadway and West End).

i second the alibaba recommendation; its prob the best shwarma in the city, at good price - its especially good after a night out on amsterdam!

Gan Asia sucks... which theater? 84th? is that why you chose Gan Asia? there are better options... (what's a DH?)
