Restaurant rec for business dinner in Chandler?

Hi - I'm going to be in PHX tomorrow a meeting and business dinner. Does anyone have any recommendations for good restaurants for business entertaining in the Chandler area?

I'm not sure that everyone will be up for a drive to Scottsdale, which seems to be the best place for food in the PHX area.

I'd consider Fogo E Brasa for a business dinner, it's bound to impress, without being too stuffy. I find business dinners are best off not varying too awfully far from meat & potatoes -- here you have the giant seafood bar, tableside service of endless roasted meats, great cocktails & wine, and the impeccable service you'd hope for to impress clients or your boss.

If in downtown Chandler, try La Stalla. Very good Italian food.

It's a chain from Canada, but a lot of people I know like The Keg for it's atmosphere (tables and booths spaced far enough to actually converse) and fair prices for good steaks, etc. Located near Chandler mall. From reports I have heard, it works well for a business dinner.

What about the new Red, White and Brew in Chandler - too far east? The food is great - only bad thing might be that they don't take reservations and the wait can be long.

Reports vary, but 98 South and 56 East would work too. I have had good experiences there.

Va Bene? Roy's? Fleming's?

What about the "other" Cafe Boa (not the original on on Mill in Tempe). I have heard great things about the filet.

Is Cyclo too whatever for the dinner? Some people avoid ethnic foods for business dinners in case companions are picky?

Definitely Kai! I went to Kai for the very first time last night for my 8 year anniversary. All I can say is WOW! After reading all of the reviews on the board as well as other restaurant reviews, it did not disappoint! I can't wait to go back. ;-)
