Why Pinkberry...? are there others just as...
I don't understand what all this hype about PB? is it really that good, I have yet to try it, just don't understand what makes it so addicting? Are there other yogurt shops that serve just as good a product?
If I decide to try PB, which one should I visit, and wanting to know what other frozen yogurt shops are worth a visit next time in the neighborhood? thanks,

They were first to open up and they have a good product. I've tried a few others and Pinkberry is better, though only incrementally rather than substantially, though.

really, what other yogurt places are worth recommending?

I like Peach House at the corner of Valley and New in San Gabriel for their peach option--plus they also sell shave ice there. It appears to be one of only two frozen yogurt places to have landed in the San Gabriel Valley to date, an amazing fact given the proliferation elsewheres. My guess is that the SGV is too saturated with boba and shave ice joints leaving much less room, in terms of both demand and likely locations, for fro-yo. Don't bother with Pin Go in Alhambra, though--just a poor imitation of Pinkberry. I also liked the place across from the Trader Joe's in Palms, but I don't remember the name.

Just go to a PB nearest to you and give it a try. I'd suggest trying the original flavor first. You'll either love it, hate it, or somewhere in between. Any which way, then you'll be able to join in on the praise or bashing.
