Looking for a good restaurant, around $25 range, in the Anaheim area for this Saturday (August 3rd). I have some friend coming in from out of town for the convention center, and would like a place to that's NOT Denny's.

Criteria:
open later than 10PM
preferably away from the tourist area (within 5-10 miles)
$20-$30 a person
good food, no dress code

Anyone have some suggestions?

Park Ave in nearby Stanton is one of my favorites. They don't list a closing time, but their website connects to OpenTable.com for online reservations, and they will take a 10:00pm reservation on Saturday August 4th.

        it's yummy.

about 10 miles away you can go to Honda-ya in tustin for some fairly good japanese food. They have yakitori and other traditional japanese food there. Open till like 12 or 1 i think

          556 El Camino Real
          Tustin, CA 92780

Beware that the restaurant has gone downhill as of late. YMMV, but the quality is not the same as it used to be for the old timers who went there a few years ago. Also, try not to order any of the sashimi or sushi if possible :) But please do have a good time! It's a great place to hang with friends, knock back a few beers or sakes, and enjoy the grilled food on sticks.
