Delivery in Long Beach, NY

Hi Everyone,

My sister-in-law is coming home from a hip replacement, and I want to get some good deli delivered to her in Long Beach. Don't know the area at all--I've transplanted from NYC to LA--so I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Lido Kosher Deli on Park St. in Long Beach. My parents take out from there all the time, and I know they deliver even as far as Merrick, where I live. I'm not a big fan of deli - prefer more heart-healthy food, but it's good and fresh.

Amym's--I feel you on eating deli. I'm a vegan, so this is not stuff I even eat! They dig it, though, so that's what counts.

She is in luck, one of the few legit deli's left in New York is right nearby,Lido Kosher Deli. The meats are Hebrew National but most everything else is homemade and excellent. http://lidokosherdeli.com/
