Looking for restaurant suppliers - I am actually looking for those SSmixing bowls that have a flat bottom, like European ones. Also, some better SS tongs with locking device.

Any of your favourite stores that sell supplies for us who like to entertain and need restaurant type cookware and gadgets.

Tap Phong on Spadina, I could spend hours in there,and it's stpes from a great lunch at Pho Hung or the Dumpling House...

I'd say Nicolau on Queen. They have everything, you just need to be able to find it and then dust it off.

Barnes & Castle has those bowls in various sizes and at super cheap prices - I got mine from the Eaton centre location.

If you are in the west end try European Restaurant and Hotel Supplies on Horner between Kiplimg and Brown's line. Full complement of the usual plus a varied selection of unusual supplies such as pate moulds etc. (416 253 9449)
