Olive 'n Herb Pizza Place in Nashua - very good (short review)

Thank you to someone recently that recommended this place. A group of us just went and we loved it. But if it matters, it's BYOB (there is a store next door if you want a six pack but if wine is your choice bring your favorite). We started with some fabulous calamari, lightly coated with batter, nice marinara sauce. We also got buffalo tenders, ok but we wanted wings. We tried all three: NY Pizza (I personally loved this, thin crisp, very nice flavors - sausage and onion - onions were very sweet). Sicillian Pizza was excellent - we got roasted red pepper and onion. And the Stuffed Pizza was unbelievable - a fabulous garlic flavor throughout, we got bacon, tomatoe, meatball and mushroom (you pick 4). We brought a few pieces home - it was new to all of us - everyone loved it. Thank you chowhounds for turning me on to a new one.

I'm so glad you went, and that you enjoyed it!! My DH and I love Olive 'n Herb. It's the only pizza in Nashua we will eat. Their cannoli's are excellent also.

I'm constantly trying to get people to try it. I want them to stay in business!!!

Yes, nice sit down, comfy place. It's on Lowell St. , exit 7e, go as if going into town but instead of taking a right onto Main St. go straight thru that light (that's Lowell St.) and it's on the right.

Having a bit of a problem figuring where it is exactly. Does Lowell run paralell to Canal, or am I being dense with the area?

What else is right aound there? That might help.

I even did a google map, but still confused.

            TIA

Lowell runs parallel to Canal--there's a big granite church on the corner of Lowell & Main, and the restaurant is right there. (if you get off 7E, you're on Amherst Street going into town. When you get to the traffic light at the intersection of Amherst, Concord, Lowell and Main streets, keep going straight.)

Okay, I can picture the big church.

Thanks, I'll try and stop in next time I'm right in the area.

Is that church St Ann de Baupre? Is Bill Cahill's Super Sub still in Hudson? If you like gyro's Milano's is good. Christopher's Subs abd Pizza was good also (off Northeastern Blvd)
