Vietnamese Coffee

Starvin4U Jul 29, 2007 02:16 PM

Hi,

Does any one know of any cafes where I could buy an authentic vietnamese coffee in Toronto?

Cheers.

...the usual well regarded vietnamese resto's (pho hung, kim bo, golden turtle...) all do it, but it's a far cry from hanging at a cafe...

Many asian food stores sell it in cans, so you can make it yourself.

..if you do decide to do it yourself, I got the individual drip things from Tap Phong on Spadina (best store ever!) for a couple bucks each, you can use esspresso beans if you can't find high test vietnamese coffee...

The reason I want to buy a prepared Vietnamese coffee is because I've never had one before and I want to see what all the buzz is about.

I know Rose Cafe on Broadview sells it for $1.50 - never had it though, that amount of caffeine would kill me!

I love them, I'm a devout double espresso LONG drinker, "buzz" is the word!
