Thai food in the burbs

DH and I tried a new (to us) Thai place in Plainfield called Thai Sweet Peppers and what a delight it is! The food is so fresh, the veggies crisp, great flavor and not just American Chinese done Tahi style, but new tastes we had not had before. Its located on 59 between 127th and 119.

Thanks for this tip. Don't forget that on 59 at 111th is Caputo's, which has lots of Asian produce and frozen foods.

Kung Thai on Weber just south of I-55 is just OK. I haven't yet tried the Thai restaurant in Morris, called 312 Thai or something like that because the owner said he wanted to serve Thai food as good as that in Chicago.

My son likes the sushi from Caputo's. I have shopped there, but don't get out there often.

I used to live near Kung Thai and ate there often, but lately I have been hearing that the food has declined.
