'Homemade' Pasta at Maggiano's?
I enjoyed a nice lunch at Maggiano's this weekend. Food and service (once I got out of the bar and into the dining room) were both very good.
I asked my server about the sign outside advertising "homemade pasta."
She said, "We don't make our pasta here. It's made at another location because our kitchen isn't big enough to roll out all the pasta we serve here. All our sauces are made from scratch in our kitchen."
My question to chowhoud is----if a product is made at a central location and then delivered to the restaurants do you still consider it 'homemade?'
