Lamb Sausages and...?

I've got some lovely lamb and lemon sausages from Whole Foods.

Any suggestions besides just grilling?

Don't want to add carbs, so no potato, pasta, rice or beans. (Well, I do have some Dreamfields pasta, so I'm open to something with Linguine or Penne)

Ideas?

  1. I like plain food with grilled sausages: Corn on the cob and sliced tomatoes with oil, salt, and basil or mint. Peaches (or peach ice cream) for dessert.

    1. Whole wheat cous cous with mint. Some carbs, but also some whole grain...

      1. Chopped salad with different colors of bell peppers, jalapeno, cucumber, and tzatziki, and grilled tomatoes.

        1. This would be nice in a stuffed tomato or stuffed pepper. Sautee up some onion, garlic, tomatoes, chopped pepper, squash, corn...whatever you have that appeals to you. Of course, sautee the lamb as well. Maybe crumble in some feta? Olives? Then, stuff into the hollowed pepper or tomato and bake until the vegetable is cooked. Yum.

          1. I ended up putting it in a low carb pita with some babaganous/cukes/tomatoes and olives. Thanks all... I'll use your suggestions in the future!
