Macarons in Calgary?

aktivistin Jul 27, 2007 02:27 PM

I recently visited Montreal and tasted macarons for the first time. Despite the fact that the ones I tasted probably weren't as amazing as macarons in Paris, I still miss them. Where in Calgary can I find these delicious crisp-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside cookies (hopefully in pistachio or hazelnut)? Thank you in advance for your help!

I am desperate to find these too, as I've never had one before. I went to Manuel Latruwe and although there were many delicious and tasty delights there, no macaron was to be found :(

Macaroons available every day at the Urban baker on Edmonton Trail.

I'm pretty sure Manuel Latruwe does these

Purchased plain macaroons at Rustic Sourdough (17th Ave. SW) - Friday. Took them back to the office for an afternoon treat - they were a hit - good size, moist, nicely toasted and sweet, (yet not sickly sweet) - also chewy on the inside - I'm going back to see if they do a chocolate version -

Thanks for the intel, caseygirl. I'll stop by there this weekend.
