Vegas - Fine Dining with Kids

Seeking a nice spot for dinner for two families, each with two 10 to 16 year old kids.
I've spent a lot of time over the years dining in Vegas on business and I don't recall any of my favorites being too kid friendly. Even those mentioned here in previous threads, such as Mesa Grill.
I'm thinking we'll try Lotus of Siam one night and was hoping to book something on the Strip for the next, as our companion family is travelling here from Europe and I'm sure would enjoy that experience.
Any suggestions or first hand experiences would be appreciated.
Thanks

We went with two children ages 11 and 13 to Boa, the steak place in teh Forum shops, and had a great time; they sat us outside, with interesting views, the food was good and they were perfectly child friendly. I'd also consider Mon Ami Gabi, fun to get the fountain views; Cafe Ba Ba Reeba for tapas; or any of the other restaurants in the Forum Shops....

Thanks for the suggestions. I should have mentioned though that I was thinking about a spot with more of an American flare as the family joining us is European.
