Best Guidebook for Paris and Normandy?
I'm looking for the best possible general guidebook for these two regions-- I'm spending nearly a month (August) in Normandy and 2 weeks in Paris. I already have Pudlo Paris, and I'm looking for something that incorporates both food and sightseeing well. Any suggestions? TIA!!
Yes, my favorite Paris guidebook by far is a little self published guidebook by a Michael Bernstein (Bernsteinparis@aol.com). It has the most reliable restaurant recommendations, also cafes and markets. Also personal notes on: museums, parks, gardens, walks, even day excursions. Also hotels and how to rent an apartment. Once you've bought the guide, he emails free restaurant up dates. A jewel.
