Sofitel Hotel Restaurant any good?

Been invited to wedding brunch. Is it worth going? Not only going because it's free, love good food and I could pass on ONE MORE family event.

I've had lunch there several times, and it was very nice each time. Again, with all the great choices in the area, maybe not a first choice, but it's still good.

I assume you mean the Sofitel downtown? If so, I'd say go. My wife and I used to stay there every now and then on some Internet deal for $139 that included breakfast. We got breakfast delivered to the room and it was always very good. Unfortunately that deal doesn't seem to exist anymore...but I assume the breakfasts are still good.

It's called Chez Collete and it's very good. Although I wouldn't recommend it on its own given all the breadth of fantastic restaurants within walking distance, I believe it won't disappoint for a wedding brunch. The menu is French.
