I am new to the area and looking for somewhere downtown for a lunch with a probable colleague. Some one I know recommended Table. I am unfamiliar, any advice?

If you're looking for something a little more casual I'd also recommend Ed Boudreux's. Good Bar B que (especially the beef brisket and tables are spread enough apart for privacy.

I would recommend Table (1st choice) or Cafe on the Square for a business lunch with a new colleague. The atmosphere is appropriate and neither menu will disappoint.

If it was some one I knew well, I would also definitely consider Chorizo, Modesto, Early Girl or Tupelo Honey (check the days open on this one). They have very interesting menus, but are louder and less conducive to a true business lunch.
