Real gelato made by an actual Italian. Lots of coffee drinks, too. Will make canolli and tiramisu (call in the morning, ready later that day). If you like chocolate this is a place not to be missed. Lots of other flavors. Caramel, peach, tiramisu, banana, et. al. Sorbets, too. Has containers for take home.

Located off I-26 at exit 97. In the brand new Broad River Village shopping center (look for the Food Lion). If you're coming from Cola take exit 97, go to the traffic light at end of exit. Go straight across and into the parking lot. Located at the near end. No sign. Look for the tables and chairs on the sidewalk. Phone: [phone] Open 7 days a week. 7a-10p Mon-Thur. Fri 7a-11p. Yes, I believe it is the Peak exit. In any event it is exit 97. The store is easy to find.

Cpt Wafer--are you sure about these hours? Or are these summer hours? A friend told me the other day that these days they aren't opening until 11. / DPO

Sadly, I can not guarantee these hours as they were copied from their to-go menu roughly 18 months ago. I did include their phone number in my original post. Give 'em a jingle to confirm their hours.

Thanks, will do. Just FYI, they now appear to be closed on Mondays, or at least no one answers there all day.

Thanks for the update. When I talked to the lady (owner?) last summer she mentioned driving in from Sumter every day. I can understand if they've cut back their hours some, particularly during the cold months. I'll probably be up that way soon to do a little shopping at The Learning Express and I'll check their new hours and post back here.
