Shakespeare eats?

Hi all,

I'm heading to Shakespeare on the common tonight and was thinking I'd pick up some take out but I'm blanking on ideas. I wanted something light, summery (I had a Speed's dog for lunch) and easy to eat while sitting on the ground. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

  1. Lamberts has a branch on Tremont (corner of West St., I think) with great deli offerings, salads and fruits.

And of course there's always Chinatown.

    1. there's also the whole foods on cambridge street near MGH. lots of good prepared foods

      1. On Winter Street, Felafel King should be open late enough that you can get a Middle Eastern salad dinner to take with you. I think they close at 7pm.

        1. The Upper Crust isn't too far for pizza. I've seen a lot of people get eats from there.

I'll be there tonight as well. I'm making Prosciutto and Brie Sandwiches with Rosemary Fig Confit. I made them last year for the same event and they were great. The confit is already made, just need to assemble the sandwiches!
