  1. HK is great: www.hkhellskitchen.com

    1. Marseille, the French/Mediterranean brasserie, on the corner of 9th Av. & 44th St., serves an excellent burger and has outdoor (sidewalk) seating. I don't drink, so I don't know about the brew. Worth giving them a call.

      1. the place you're looking for is Mr. Bigg's around 43rd on 10th. Burgers, outside seating, beer, and M-F lunch special burger and a beer for $5.95

        1. if you want to swap the burger for a delicous brat and beer, hallo berlin on 10th - beer garden in back.

          1. You'd be well off at Lansdowne Road, 43rd and 10th.. better off there than mr. biggs probably...

            1. There's a place called Vintage with all sorts of interesting beers (bottle only) on 9th between 49th and 50th. I know they have a patio out back, but I haven't seen it. They have burger-ish pub style food... can't vouch for it. I had a BLT there a few weeks ago and it was exactly mediocre.

They have an interesting beer list and the patio might be stunning, for all I know. It may be worth a look if you're walking around there anyway.

I love Hallo Berlin though. I'll second that as well.

              1. I would give props to Marseille as well... I go there routinely for just their burgers. Comes with garlic aioli and crispy fries, always cooked perfectly. Good service, great outdoor seating. Mr. Biggs is terrible - I've given them a number of opportunities and I've been disappointed after every one. It's cheap, but always overcooked. I will happily pay 12$ for a fantastic med-rare burger. HK turns out a great burger as well, and have a terrific patio.
