Canned Coffee in Toronto

I've acquired a taste for those canned coffees sometimes sold in Japanese stores or Asian supermarkets. There are a variety of brands, most with mainly Japanese or Korean writing on them. Some are better than others, but it's nice to get an ice-cold caffeine fix on a hot day.

The problem? At $2 to $3 for a small can they seem a bit pricey, especially if I wanted to stock up my fridge.

Does anyone know a place in the downtown area where I could pick these up a bit cheaper, or maybe get a case of 6 or 12 for a decent price? Thanks.

  1. I seem to recall that the P.A.T. store on Bloor, a couple blocks east of Christie, carried canned coffee. You may get it cheaper there.

Most the stores in Chinatown sell different varieties. You are likely to get the best price outside of downtown at places like T&T (can't wait until the one on Cherry Street opens!)

try no frills at dufferin mall. i remember seeing canned coffee there, won't get any cheaper than that.
