Paddington/Lancaster Gate Area

Well, this L.A. hound is off (again) to the UK on business in 2 weeks time. I'll have about 4 days in London this time around.
This trip, I'll be staying solo in the Paddington/Lancaster Gate area - somewhat unfamiliar food and pub turf. I've done my share of searching the boards for recommended spots in the area. Seems like Westbourne and Edgware Rds are rife with lots of lebanese / middle eastern eateries (ah kebab huts!). And while I can settle for Khan's in terms of moderate priced Indian, I'm wondering if there are any other decent Indian restaurants in this general vicinity that I might try. (Yes, I know Howler would disagree that Khan's even falls into the "Indian food" category, but....) Since I'm dining solo, I'm not looking to break the bank but would like to find moderately priced meals that stand out. I can't make a London trip without sating myself with Indian food.
A couple of other spots in the general area that I hope to try for the first time:
Royal Star (dim sum)
Rodizio Rico (churrascaria)
Golden Hind (F & C, Marylebone), and / or...
Nandos (only because I've never been to one)
Mitre (literally doors down from my hotel)
Windsor Castle (further afoot, but I did manage to find this place last visit and had a great panang curry lunch there)
As I said, I've combed the boards here for this general area, but if anyone has some good recs for Indian, middle eastern, or other general "must-try's," I would certainly appreciate it.
