Italian Deserts in North Shore?

I've found amazing Italin deli in Glen Cove (Razzaon's) gret hot hero place in Glen Cove too--can't remember the name, somehtin Rustica. There seems to be countles other Italian delis/pizza palces, so it's obvious Glen Cove has Italian influence.
So who's got the best canoli??
Anywhere in North Shore will do.

I like Polito Bakery for Italian pastries (and excellent pizza dough), on Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park. For Italian cakes with tremendous eye appeal (but not for pastries), Leonetti's on Glen Cove Road (a few blocks north of Northern Boulevard) is top shelf.
