Super Walmart Chicken

I've tried Super Walmart's fried chicken, chicken wings, and rotisserie chicken (both bbq and lemon pepper) and have to confess that it's the best market chicken ever.

I'm not sure what it is, but their fried crust is flavorful and their rotisserie is always juicy.

Even more, their prices are cheaper than the local Ralph's so for me it's a win-win situation.

Walmart chicken, you've won my heart.

BTW I'm not affiliated with Walmart in any way.

  1. I tried their fried chicken ages ago. The flavoring element I noticed most was MSG. Much like cheap plastic surgery, they tried to make their breasts and thighs more attractive but you could tell they were artificially enhanced

I tried the Wal-Mart Supercenter fried chicken recently, and it is good for the price. The chicken was a little dry from sitting in in the case, but the seasoning was very good without the heavy breading found elsewhere. The sides were actually very good with fancy potato and macaroni salad. The meal did come with somewhat forgettable rolls. However, the 8-piece meal was $6.47!!! The fact that the meal was OK makes it an excellent value. Fresher chicken would be best, but that is still about half what KFC charges.

    2. Their jalepno roasted chicken is great. I make chicken enchiladas with it and no one knows it's a bought chicken.
