Has anyone been to TIVOLI on Exchange Street in Malden??

We are thinking about trying it this weekend at the behest of friends. They really enjoyed the food, but they do not drink wine - so I was wondering if anyone had been recently and could talk about the food and advise if there is a serviceable wine list.

  1. Tivoli's is one of our favorite places to go for great food at decent prices, in a laid back, friendly atmosphere. The wine list is not overly extensive, but we have never had trouble finding something drinkable. I don't know how your tastes run, so I won't venture to guess whether it is "servicable" or not.

The food has french and italian influences. We have never been disappointed with a meal there. Favorites are the seared scallop salad, the pork chop and duck two ways. It's really a lovely place.

Thanks so much, Lisa, for your insights. We are not too picky about wine - I just wanted to make sure they had a wine list, period.... Anyway, we heard about the duck so I am glad to hear your props. I will look forward to our meal!

To confirm, they do indeed have a wine list, its just not huge. It tends to focus on basic, food friendly offerings that are reasonably priced. They also carry a few half bottles, which we really like when matching something with apps, and something different with dinner.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

    2. My husband and I love Tivoli, their seafood pasta is wonderful, and the duck is one of my favorites. The only hitch is that the service can be really really slow.
