NeWorlDeli-- FWIW, serving Dinner

singlemalt Jul 25, 2007 10:18 AM

In today's AAS it is reported that NWD will start keeping later hours Wed-Sat and serve dinners in the 10 to 12 dollar range. Glad they are staying open longer but I think they should stick to what brung 'em, i.e. sandwiches and soup. We'll see.

Ohh, that's in my 'hood. I wonder what kinds of items they'll have on the menu ( *trying to visualize a fancy $12 rueben*) Thanks for this info!

My guess would be that the salmon would be on the $12 end. from this week's Food&Life: "The dinner menu includes items such as pork tenderloin with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables; fish tacos made with fried tilapia, avocado dressing, pico de gallo and slaw on corn tortillas; salmon stuffed with seafood (above); and eggplant Parmesan served with a side salad and a vegetable. The entrees range from $8.95 to $12.95."

Friends of mine went last evening. She had salmon, he had soup and salad, both were pleased with quality and prices.
