Seriously this is my Final Review of Szechuan Bay in Somerville
Okay, I have practically reviewed this place many times and hated it. The board responded by hating me..so I went on a mission. I will eat just about every Szechuan item on this menu twice and will review it one last time.
Well a funny thing happend while eating here so often, beside the 25lb weight gain, I actually loved this place. Pretty soon the owners will start charging me rent. Here are my favorite dishes:
Double taste pork thigh
Rabbit meat with garlic, not the one from the appetizer section becuase that one sucked. Unless you like your taste buds to be pounded to death by the intensity of the salt. Seriously they should ban this appetizer from the menu
Anything with spicy chili sauce- Tofu, pork, beef, and fish.
The whole fried fish with its many pornograhpic poses drenched in all kind of sauces, espcially in house special sauce.
Fresh fish filets in house special sauce
Spareribs with bamboo shots.
The Pu Platter-take a break a break from my heartburn
Enhanced Pork with Salt and Pepper
Sliced Tender Pork with Garlic Sauce
Szechuan Dan Dan Noodles
Szechuan Cold Noodles
This list can go on forever but this is my top favorites. If you want to know what I dishes I would stay away from, please see below. I have reviewed these dishes before on my previous posts but I tried them again and they still showed no mercy on my taste buds...Please see my previous posts on exactly why I did not like these dishes.
Double Shredded Rabbit Meat in Chili Sauce
Most dishes under the chef's specialities (House Special Duck, Le Mountain Spicy Chicken,)
Sesame Beef...the soles of my shoes are a lot more tender the beef that came with this dish.

re: galangatron
The rabbit meat comes warm with big chunks of garlic cloves. The garlic cloves have been cooked out pretty much so you will not be overwhelmed with the garlic taste. The rabbit is chopped into little tiny piecs so that it looks more like rib bits with succelent pieces of meat. It is not a spicy (hot) dish.
