Baby Friendly Restaurants

  • 1

My sister, brother-in-law and their 9 month old daughter will be visiting from PA for 3 days. I'm looking for dinner options - including sushi, thai, french - that would be appropriate to bring a baby. She's a good baby but I do want to be mindful of other dinners. Price is not too important - we are willing to spend for a good meal and wine. I'm more concerned about finding a baby-friendly place that doesn't require us to take the 5:30 reservation. I saw on the boards that Otto and Landmarc might be good options...any others? We live in East Village, so anything midtown or lower is preferred.

  1. A few baby-friendly spots:

Via Emilia, on 20th St., just west of Park Av. S. - http://www.viaemilianyc.net

Penelope, on the corner of Lex & 30th St. - http://www.penelopenyc.com

    Ali Baba, on 34th St., b/t 2nd & 3rd Avs. - http://www.alibabaturkishcuisine.com

    Gavroche, on 14th St., b/t 7th & 8th Avs. (In the garden) - http://www.gavroche-ny.com

And, of course, Shake Shack is always a great option with kids. Lots of tables for al fresco dining in Madison Square Park. http://www.shakeshacknyc.com
