Breakfast Spot in San Pedro? foodnetwork feature...

jdwoods Jul 24, 2007 06:59 PM

A while ago, I recall watching a spot on FoodNetwork... I forgot which show it was but they were profiling Breakfast restaurants around the country...
They did one place in San Pedro that I hadn't heard of... Unfortunately, I did not write down the name... hence the post... can somebody please help me?
I think the place is small... run by a husband and wife team... they have homemade salsa... huge portions... almost everything is homemade... I remember the chef showing how he made sausage and made bread...
Does this ring anybody's bells? thank you in advance!

Just for future reference, the show is Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. One of my favorites not because of Guy, but because they show my kind of food! :)

the gaffey street diner is great. one of the few places that can make home fried potatos correctly. But take note they close around 230 or so everyday and are really crowded during breakfast time on weekends.
