Anyone know anything about Dio Deka next to the Los Gatos Hotel? I'd appreciate any comments.

The food and service at Dio Deka are outstanding - our new favorite high-end resto, and we go regularly now. But it is very noisy, so go very early or else learn to read lips. (You'll have to get reservations at least a couple of weeks in advance for weekend nights.)

It's nouveau Greek, and the story I heard is that it was started by some folks who previously with Kokkari and Evvia, so that gives you an idea. I've also heard good things, but I've stayed away because I heard it's super noisy and I find that very trying. I'd really like your take on that if and when you report back.

Thanks for your replies. Don't know if we will go, just mulling a Santa Cruz mountains wine tasting trip. Sunset suggested the hotel and that restaurant seemed to be convenient and interesting looking.
I'll report back if we do go, however the noise is a real minus to us.
