Thanks. Do they have the same menu? Is the atmosphere at one nicer than at the other?

Bon Chon has a nicer vibe and a longer menu. Its chicken is better, too. Bon Bon has some tables, but it's mostly a takeout operation.

The two places may have started out with common ownership and recipes, but based on recent visits I'd go with Bon Chon.

The same people? Maybe, but the chicken is not identicle. Both are good but I would give the edge to Bon Chon; they are a little more flavorful. I think the drumsticks at Bon Bon are little too large as the crispy skin to meat ratio is a bit too low for my liking but you can get a order of all wings.

Bon Bon operates as simple fried chicken place. They are street level and have tables that you can take you food to (kinda like KFC).
Bon Chon is well hidden on the second floor of a nondescript building - it is a trendy-type lounge that serves fried chicken. It feels very strang walking up to the bar to get chicken to go. You can also get a table and waitress service. Would you like a Cosmopolitan with your wings?
