are you looking for japanese dessert (hence the omakase reference?)

if you are open to dessert tasting menu's, you may want to check out the one at providence.

Dessert Omakase at Jinpachi is made by Taka's (the Chef) wife. She was a former pastry chef at Spago and makes a great assorted plate, usually consisting of some chocolate, an ice cream, perhaps a sorbet, profiterole, cookies, fruit. It's also a great presentation and well worth saving room, it is rarely Japanese although sometimes Japanese influenced. (that's not a bad thing considering rarely is a dessert memorable in Japan)
The sushi is good too, and the bar is very comfortable with usally very good service.
