Skye-Glendale anyone been?

Well its our anniversary this week (22 years) and we'd like to go to a nice dinner. Living in Peoria, there aren't too many non chain places.

Has anyone been to the new restaurant skye? It looks like it might be a nice place for an anniversary dinner.

Any other recommendations? We don't mind driving, since we live right by the Loop 101.

Would like a good steak and lobster. We don't drink, so wine lists and such are not an issue.

Price is no object, however we'd prefer to keep it under $50.00 a person.

Went for a Bachelorette party in June....we did apps and martinis.
The calamari, ahi, and brie were all great!

I have heard two great reports and one very good. Food gets good reports. I think one couple was seated upstairs and decided to request downstairs next time. Someone said a younger nightclub crowd comes in later to enjoy the drinks and music.

Skye is owned by Scotty Tompkins, who was exec chef for Mastro's group for years and years
