Cuisinart Mixer vs Kitchenaid? anyone...
I recently saw that Cuisinart is now making blenders...http://cuisinart.com/
and a pretty fancy one it seems. Antone know anything about this in comparison to the KitchenAid's? Will llikely purchase one in the near future. I like some of the features the Cuisin has, but the name and rep of KA might be worth the buy alone. But at Linen's and Things it was 50.00 cheaper than the KA Pro
Anyone know about this model?

Well, I researched and researched the blenders and bought the Cuisinart chrome even though I have a Kitchenaid stand mixer that I love. Problem, they are both a mess to pour as the bowl is so round that pancake batter, milkshakes ect, come tumbling out! You can have mine if you want, I'm getting a Waring be-hive!

My husband bought the Cuisinart stand mixer for my birthday after much research on my part. I'm very satisifed w/ my Cuisinart. Features I especially like are: tiltback head, timer, fold button, easy clean up, relatively quiet. Much more power in the machine than the KA pro and looks to be made very well. Wish an extra bowl was available for purchase, smaller size for smaller amounts of batter. My mixer was purchased at LNT with their 20% off coupon, savings of $70!! Also looking for a cover for it, not sure if the KA cover will fit. No regrets about buying the Cuisinart!!

Just checking, do you mean a stand mixer or a blender? Both are very different appliances.
